Shared this one as a concept a while back. We now have the new concrete with stone inlay, the roof, and temporary posts in place so we know where to build the column bases. Those go in tomorrow, along with stonework along the lower entry.

Operation retaining wall!
Stay tuned for this cute little entry upgrade (photo comp + before shots shown here). We`re re-pouring the concrete steps, making the entry slightly broader, and adding a 12/12 wrap-around roof for added dry space. Gotta protect those Amazon packages! We`ll finish it off with variegated bluestone inlays, and cultured stone around the bottom 18" of the entryway.

Ever since reading "Wooden Boats" by Michael Ruhlman, I`ve been fascinated by how much we can do with simple levers. Here we`re using a 16` 6x8 and an old tree round. So satisfying!

Chimney repair on Mt Hood where structures take a beating in the winter. This repair was specifically designed to have nothing that would catch on snow and ice sliding off the roof.
